I wanted to test more than whether Astra could model a wardrobe. The task covered the whole workflow: build the model in 3ds Max, render still images and a short animation, and publish the result as a blog article on Arkitektbild.

The wardrobe in motion

The film shows the wardrobe from different angles, the doors opening and a drawer sliding out and back in.

From a brief to images and film

Astra wrote and ran MAXScript to build the wardrobe, set up materials and lighting, and animate the cameras, doors and drawer. The stills and film are renders from the same 3D scene — not separately AI-generated images.

How did it go?

The result was an editable 3D model, three still images, a short animation and this article, prepared for publication. It was not a flawless one-shot attempt: door movement, drawer runners and camera framing needed corrections. The test explores how far Astra can take a connected task — from instructions to website content, with review and feedback along the way.
